Update # 10

How Levine's is responding to
COVID-19 in our community
To the families we serve, friends and members of our community,
As we look back at how this disease has impacted so many, our hearts go out to both
loved ones lost and their survivors.
Effective Saturday 12/12/2020 Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has announced additional mitigation efforts to control the spread of the COVID- 19 virus. Joseph Levine & Sons will remain committed to keeping the health and safety of our employees and the families we serve a top priority. It is for this reason that we will only allow chapel services at our 500 seat Trevose, PA. location to have a maximum of 10 family members and guests in attendance. To ensure the safety of everyone, we will continue to adhere to guidelines of the State of Pennsylvania, the CDC and medical experts, which will include:
You are also required to wear a face mask covering both your nose and mouth, at all times. If you cannot wear a mask due to an existing medical condition, we ask that you reconsider entering the facility, at all, but if you must enter, we will provide you with a disposable face shield that must be worn at all times. For your safety and the safety of our guests and staff, we may also make arrangements to have you safely distanced while attending the funeral, viewing, or arrangements. If you fail to adhere to these requirements, you will be asked to leave.
Maintaining social distancing of at least 6ft.
Sitting every other row while in our chapel.
Unfortunately, the current climate means we must forego some time-honored traditions. We are accustomed to comforting the family by offering handshakes or hugs. We ask for your cooperation in abstaining from these practices.
We will raise our current high health standards and will disinfect every room and surface before and after each gathering. In addition, we will provide guests with hand sanitizing stations. Chapel services can be webcast as we have for over 10 years, to a larger audience if selected. This is done through our own system and not a third party, to assure the highest uninterrupted audio and visual quality. We are providing graveside services (with cemetery/state restrictions) and many of our families are opting to use Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, or Google Meet while at the cemetery.
For the convenience and safety of the families we serve, we will continue to make funeral arrangements and pre-arrangements by phone and email. We will also make in person funeral arrangements when requested by a family but will limit the number of people present.
Even with these temporary unprecedented measures, we will continue to serve the community in the same way that we have since 1883, with Service-Tradition-Dignity. We will get through this together! Thank you for your kindness, cooperation, and support.
Sincerely,
The Levine Family
