Ordering Death Certificates

It is our policy to encourage our families to order additional copies of the death certificate at the time of arrangements.
The original certificate is held by the local registrar for only a short time before being forwarded to the main branch of
the State Vital Records offices. We understand that there are instances when additional copies may be needed and families
do not wish to wait for the several weeks that may be required. To simplify and expedite this process, we are providing the
following information so that you may contact the department directly.
